Genevieve completed her practicum and internship with Pine Valley while attending Lamar University and now holds a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling as well as a Bachelors Degree from Montreat College in Outdoor Education.  Genevieve is a Licensed Professional counselor who has been a member of our provider team for (3) years.  Genevieve has a passion for adventure-based counseling which she explored while getting her undergraduate degree and working as a guide at a residential wilderness therapy program in Wisconsin for traumatized preteens and teens. Genevieve remains fascinated with the process of human change, growth and healing. She is focused on helping individuals identify and achieve strengths, overcome barriers and pursue overall health and well-being.
